Donna Simpson, MBA
Donna has been a member of the SBDC staff since
1993, currently serves as Consultant Manager. She previously served
as Special Projects Manager.
Donna created, coordinates and presents the Women WIN! training program for women entrepreneurs. She has taken on responsibility for the student interns of the KSOM Women’s Entrepreneurship Center . In 2010 she was
named SBA’s Champion of Women in Business for eastern PA, Woman of
Excellence (SAGE award) by the Scranton Chamber of Commerce and
received the Legion of Honor Award from the Chapel of the Four
Chaplains. Donna is a graduate of the Susquehanna County Leadership
2020 in 2009 and Leadership Lackawanna class of 2001. Donna was also
named a 2006 Woman of Distinction by the Scranton Pocono Girl Scout
Council. She was named one of the Top 25 Women in Business by the
NEPA Business Journal in 2003 and a Pennsylvania Small Business
Development Center State Star in 2004. She is also involved in many
community and professional efforts.
